palestra eccoci pronti per un aperitivo.
SeThePenèclassico il Felix, il ristorante
al 28 piano, è quanto di più glamour
e innovativo ci si possa aspettare.
Disegnato da Philippe Starck, è tutto
giocato su vetro colorato, acciaio
satinato e tessuti beige. Tutte la pareti
sono in vetro con vista. L’ascensore
emozionale sale veloce, lentamente si
abbassano le luci, ed eccoci arrivati, le
portesi spalancanoesiamotra lestelle.
Pavimento luminoso in vetro, sedie
con i ritratti degli amici del designer.
Dopo aver sorseggiato un
ottimo Savignon neozelandese
ci sediamo per la cena. I l
menu è su iPad. Scegl iamo la
Fel ix Experience, un menu
degustazione di terra e
di mare con vini abbinati
(sono rappresentate Napa
Val ley, Austral ia e New
Zealand). È stato i l nuovo
chef Yoshiharu Kaj i a creare
questo menu Asia Fusion
che fa dialogare Oriente e
Occidente.
Having put our conscience at peace
after the hour in the gym, we are
now ready for an aperitif. If The Pen
is classic, Felix, the restaurant on the
28th foor, is more glamourous and
innovative than one could expect.
Designed by Philippe Starck, it is all
played out with coloured glass, satin-
fnished steel and beige fabrics. All
walls are glass, ofering splendid
views. A special lift takes us up fast.
The lights dim slowly and we arrive.
The doors open and we are among the
stars. The foors are all illuminated
from beneath and the chairs each
have a photo of one of Starck’s friends.

quarter where the hotel
is located. At midnight
there are many people
on the street . Small
shops are open and
there is a lot of life, even
