erano obbligate. Nel dopoguerra vi vengono girati vari flm tra i
quali Caruso Pascoski (1988) di Franceso Nuti ed è stato il quartier
generale per il Paziente inglese (1996) di Antony Minghella. Nel
2004 è stato profondamente rinnovato conservandone l’originario
fascino Decò, valorizzandone decorazioni e stile.

he nobility and wealthy Italian and European industrialists
came to Viareggio, Capri and the Lido of Venice. Classy
hotels were few then and the choices were obligatory. After
the war various flms were made there, among which Caruso
Pascoski (1988) by Franceso Nuti, and it was the headquarters
in The English Patient (1996) by Antony Minghella. In 2004 it
underwent massive remodling yet conserving the original Decò
fascination, enhancing its decorations and style.
