La spa sorge appartata nel giardino ricavata in una
spettacolare villa. Gli spazi generosi sono arredati con mobili
e tappeti di tradizione locale. I trattamenti sono un omaggio
alla tradizione thailandese. I prodotti utilizzati sono naturali e
sfruttano l’incredibile varietà di piante, spezie e oli essenziali
della regione.
Il Sala Mae River è il ristorante Thai del resort. Su un’ampia
terrazza vengono serviti piatti autentici appena rivisitati in
chiave contemporanea. L’ottimo servizio e una attenta carta dei
vini ne fanno una esperienza da ricordare.
I contadini stanno raccogliendo grandi fasci di riso quando
partiamo per il Golden Triangle. Il bufalo albino emette un
muggito rauco, quasi un saluto. Ci aspettano quattro ore di auto
per raggiungere un campo tendato di cui si favoleggia dalla sua
costruzione: il Four Seasons Tented Camp. Ancora non sappiamo
che leaspettativeverrannoabbondantemente superatedalla realtà.

The spa is located in a grandiose garden and set up in a
spectacular villa. Its generous spaces are enhanced with furniture
and rugs from the local tradition, while treatments faithfully
celebrate the Thai tradition. The products used are all natural,
and generously exploit the incredible variety of plants, spices and
essential oils of the region.
The Mae River is the Thai restaurant at the resort. On a spacious
terrace are served authentic traditional dishes - just a bit revisited
and rendered more contemporary. The superb service and rich
wine list make dining there an experience to remember.
The peasants are gathering great bundles of ricewhenwe leave
for the Golden Triangle. The albino bufalo emits a hoarse bellow,
almost a farewell. A four-hour car ride awaits us to reach a tent
camp whose construction is now is fable-like: The Four Seasons
Tent Camp. We are still unaware that reality will abundantly
exceed our expectations.
