Q
uando nel 1296 il re Mengrai stabili il suo regno nel nord
del Paese diede origine allo stile Lanna, uno stile ricco
e cosmopolita. Infissi birmani, indiani e cinesi si fusero
in una architettura ancora oggi conosciuta come un momento
importante nella storia della Thailandia. E’ a questo stile che
si ispira il resort, a pochi chilometri da Chiang Mai e dalle sue
testimonianze dell’antico regno.
Suite, ville e residenze sono rivolte alle risaie. Attorno è una
composizione di vegetazione locale, un omaggio alla natura
rigogliosa di questa terra benedetta da piogge costanti. Natura

n 1296 King Mengrai established his Kingdom in the north of
the Country, giving rise to the rich and cosmopolitan Lanna
style. Burmese, Indian and Chinese settlements fused in an
architecture that still today represents an important moment in
the history of Thailand. This is the style which inspired that of the
resort, a few kilometers from Chiang Mai with its near-by vestiges
of the ancient kingdom.
Suites, villas and residences face the rice paddies. All around is a
composition of local vegetation, homage to the luxuriant greenery
of this land, blessed by constant rain. Natural and designed
vegetation dialogue, creating a context of great fascination. The
